What is the Wishes Cruise?

Hi Could someone please tell me about the Wishes Cruise and also are you only allowed a certain amount of guests. I keep hearing about it and it sounds really nice.

We did a wishes cruise on our honeymoon - it was so much fun! We got on the boat at the Contemporary, and our captain took us around the lake and told us all kinds of fun facts about the lagoon, the hotel, etc. We stopped in front of the Wilderness lodge to watch the Water pagent, and then it was off to the front of the MK to watch Wishes. Seeing wishes from the pontoon boat was really cool, it gives you a completely different perspective then when you are in the park. During wishes our captain would fill us in on little facts about the show. Afterwards, it was back to the Contemporary.

It was only the two of us on the boat, but i would i assume that the guest limits are based on the size of the boat.

Would you mind telling me how much it cost and also will i have to get my wedding co-ordinator to book it or do i have to book it with someone else.

You would have to book it through 407-WDW-PLAY, I dont think your co-ordinator would book it for you. I don't know what the current cost is (but I'm sure you can find it over on the Theme Park board), and my DH booked the cruise for us last year and never told me how much it cost He also got us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to enjoy while on the boat.

As with the IllumiNations cruises, when you rent either boat, it belongs to your party for the show; meaning the only people there will be the ones you've invited!

We did a Wishes Cruise thank you for coming to our wedding on the Grand One this past July. It was awesome! The music was piped in and the view from the lagoon was superb! The captain picked us up from the Polynesian and we cruised around for awhile before they settled in for the fireworks. It was amazing!
The limit we were told for the Grand One was 13 adults-we only had 10 so we were well within the limit.
We paid 400 I think for one hour. It was definitely worth it to us because it was something unique for our guests and had not to my knowledge been done by any of them. We did not have food as we had just eaten at OHanas.
I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!!
