Just curious, we are flying PE and wondered if this gives us any access to any of the lounges.

V Room is for Virgin Holidays customers only.

Flying PE gives no access to any airport lounges.

Well I wish they had flipping told us that when we went to Jamaica last year, my husband enquired about the lounge for frequent travellers but was told we could not use it as we had booked with Virgin Holidays - nobody flipping mentioned there was another lounge we could use.

It depends what airport you are flying out of as to whether this facility is available, no matter how you book.

You could look at booking a lounge and paying for it. Opinions differ widely on whether it is worth it or not and will obviously depend on what airport, how much time you spend there (does it justify the cost?) and what your reason is for wanting the benefit of access to a lounge.

I paid for one last year as I didn't want to walk around shopping at the airport for 3 hours before our flight. Nothing special, but it was certainly a more peaceful and relaxed place to kill the time. I went through topcashback.co.uk and booked with holidayextras and what I paid for myself and DD was no more than we would have paid buying magazines and food had we passed the time floating about the airport.
