"6 night/7day MYW vacation for a family of 4 starting at less than $1600 at a Value resort, $2000 at a Mod resort or $2700 at a Deluxe resort" as stated on the Disney website? I've been on there this morning and it seems to reject every date or resort I've chosen. It will tell me "unable to find availability, to select a different resort or travel date or change to concierge???" Anyone ever get this deal? Thanks. And Happy New Year! :wizard:

If you read the fine print on these quotes, it's usually during value season, the 2 children are usually 1 child (up to 9yo and 1 jr. (over 10), although I could be wrong the kids prices. Room is standard and the tickets are base tickets (no hopping.)

Value Season, Value Resort, base tickets, no dining, 1 child 3-9 years old and 1 child 10-17 years old.

Disney's All-Star Sports Resort

Arriving on 09/02/07 for 6 nights
2 Adults, 2 Children

Resort Category: Value
Room Type: Standard View
Ticket Type: 7-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket
Package Type: Magic Your Way Package

Package Total: $1,415.76

What dates are you looking at? Also, I think the site must be very busy recently, because there have been a few times when I tried things that the site said NO availability and just a few minutes later everything was available! Maybe a glitch.

Thanks for the help! I was using dates for March which I dont think is value season. Trying to get a good birthday present. :goodvibes Just wondering though, does it have to be 4? I guess I will just try it w/our 2adults and 1 child. Thanks again!

That 'deal' is just an advertisement of how 'cheap' it can be to go to disney at full rack rates. March being peak season will be much higher than those prices.

I'm going to do this the same as the package you were looking at - 6 nights, 7 days 2 adults, 1 junior, 1 child base tickets

Cheapest value room in peak - 119 * 6 nights = 714 + tax = (about) 796
tickets for 3 adults 1 child = 855
Cheapest possible rack rate for room and tickets total = 1651

Add about 200 for tickets for hopping, another 200 for water parks, and if you want dining another 774.

I'm checking disneyworld.com for more info.

What you're describing isn't an offer like, say, free dining or a room discount. It's an advertisement saying that your family of 4 (2 adults, 1 junior, and 1 child last time I looked) can spend only that much if you go during value season, get basic park tickets instead of hoppers, etc.

March isn't value season, so you may not be able to get your vacation price that low if you stick with those dates to vacation. All you can do is find the best possible price and decide if it works for you......

Enjoy!

BOy is my computer giving me fits today.

So March 7-13 showed availability with a quote of 1666 for 2 adults, 1 junior 1 child, pop century standard room base tickets. about 2006 with hopping and water parks.

I'm having too much trouble loading pages to look for the moderates/deluxes.

You may consider calling your local AAA office for quote. Will be cheaper if there are any AAA rooms available still.

Call CRO, they can give you the same as WDW site.

That Happened to Me over and over agian, too! But then when I went to change it the website shut down and said it was doing maintenance. You MIGHT have been trying at the same time, and the website just malfunctioned.
When it happened to me, it said "upgrade to concierge" to me about everything. I went back a couple days later and it was working fine, and the same dates were available

Thanks for all the tips! When I went to work today I did it off of that computer and of course much quicker plus with knowing what to actually put in there I got it to work right. ;) Thanks all!
