What is the stupidest thing you forgot?

I have mistakenly packed our "USED" non-expy 7-days park-hoppers for the whole family. I have to re-purchased 4 tixs for our vacation; however, mistakes like this could be a good thing. For the next 2 years after that, we didn't need to buy anymore tickets and that has saved us $$ (ticket price has gone up quite a few dollars)

Our last Disney trip I forgot all of my socks. My husband was sweet enough to jog to a nearby store...since my curling iron was busted on the flight there and going a whole week without it was not an option. So that dear man jogged in the heat a mile or so away just to get me some socks and a curling iron.

I have been bad about not packing my sons tooth brushes. Thank goodness you can usualy find these in the hotel gift shop.

I'm just the opposite: I have everything and anything in my luggage: Need a pin? I got it! Aloe? I got it! A waffle iron?.....well..er...no, but I'll have one for next time!

I also forgot my Rainforest Cafe gift cards once. Was worried they would expire before I got near a RFC again. They were fine for next trip, though.

We are annual passholders. We live in Florida. Took our DD over for her birthday. Got to the gate......she forgot her pass. Enjoyed DTD for awhile, then drove back home.:lmao: Now we check before we leave the driveway.

Shoes and not once, but twice! To be fair the first time was our honeymoon and I was responsible for packing some stuff and dh the other stuff. Apparently we each thought the other had packed them and we were a bit preoccupied with getting to the wedding.

My husband forgot to bring shoes also on our honeymoon! All he had were those lovely rental ones that came with the tux! We had to have someone bring us some shoes for him to the hotel we stayed in on our wedding night!

wherever we go there is always something we forget, like last year our 1st trip to WDW & i forgot my swimsuits, couple of years ago on a trip to Spain i forgot to pack all of DH's t-shirts & shirts (well he shouldn't have left all the packing to me), and recently on a weekend at Lumley castle no hairbrush and no toothpaste. I do actually make lists but then i forget to add one or two or three items to the list! :confused3

Underwear....several times :rolleyes1 Now they are the first things packed. Haven't forgot anything else lately:cool1:

My best friends daughter forgot her drivers license when they were going to Florida. The airport was 4 hours away. They were able to change her flights and she arrived about 12 hours after the rest of the family.

my glasses, I hate not being able to see before I get out of bed in the morning:rolleyes:

Last year when I went to WDW with my now ex-husband, we had just gotten to the airport when I realized I had forgotten my Driver's Licence!! I couldn't get on the plane without it, not to mention Pleasure Island (you constantly have to show ID).

Thank God for two things: (A) we lived 15 minutes from the local airport we were leaving from (Islip, Long Island) and (B) we had arrived two and a half hours before our flight, so I had plenty of time to hop back in the car, drive back home, and pick up my licence.

Whoa! I will never make that mistake again!!

i see a lot of you have forgotten tix and had to buy again.... but I've heard if you paid with a charge card they can look it up for you, check the tickets to see how many days are left and cancel the old tickets, give a new one. anyone else heard this? also take a pic for your phone of the info on the receipt or the ticket back info so in case you forget/lose them you have the info. I havent had to do this.....yet...... but my nephew did or at least thats how he explained it.

Yes, this is true. I upgraded all of our tickets last year the CM showed me what code I needed to keep up with. It is also wise to make a copy of the back of your tickets and pack it somewhere in your luggage. I have that code in my palm phone and in a message emailed to me in the event my phone is lost and my luggage never arrives or my info binder is confiscated for holding Disney secrets:rotfl2:

thanks for this thread! im leaving in 14 days and you guys are helping me pack! :rotfl:

not disney related, but a similar thing happened to a lady I work with. Last fall her husband and her flew to Las Vegas. She boarded in Maine ok. What she didn't realize was her license had expired. TSA caught it when she tried to board for return flight. She could not get on and they had to rent a car and drive back to Maine.

i alwasy forget something tat i end up needing but my last trip to disney in december was the worst

i forgot....toothbrush, toothpaste, ace bandages, ice packs, tylenol, band aids adn socks

we figuerd that we paid as much for that stuff as we did for souviners:rotfl:

I forgot my foot file! All the walking did a number on my feet. So I apologize to anyone who had to see my crusty feet at the pool :lmao:

I also forgot my ID when picking up my P&PP tickets at MK the night of the party. :scared1: Luckily the CM gave them to me anyway after quizzing me on my address and giving me a lecture :thumbsup2
