I was just wondering how that works. ( not saying there going to offer it this year) It states 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child on the reservation. What does disney concider a junior. In the resort's, a junior is any one under 18.

I think Disney considers a child between 10-17 a junior - they're adults for tickets and dining, but not for hotel occupancy. (Disney charges additional for more than 2 adults in a room.)

So if disney did offer this in place of free dining, would 2 adults and my son (age15) be able to make use of this kind of offer?

They're just using 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child as an example; you don't have to have a group of that same make-up to take advantage of the offer. In fact, right now there's a spring offer that's available until the 31st where the offer page on the Disney site says:

"For example, purchase a 5-night/6-day Magic Your Way package for as little as $67 per person, per day for a family of 4 at Disney's All Star Sports Resort in a standard room." Then in small print it says that this price is based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child in a standard room.

Disney used the stay, dine and play offer this last January and February in place of free dining. We were there during that period. The stay, play and dine offer was that you would pay children's prices for the dining plan and tickets, instead of adult prices. It was a good value for families that had children age 10 and over, but it wasn't free dining. And for us, a room discount was a better deal.

Right now I am booked at POR November 10-16. The average price per night is about 185.00. Even if they gave a 25 percent discount it only saves me about 200.00 for the week. If I got the qsd for three people at the childs rate which I think is about 15.00 per person per day vs adult rate at 38.00 I whould stand to save 400.00. I don't see how I'm going save much with the room discount but you never now.

If you stay at a moderate than yes, the stay, plan, and dine plan could probably save more money for most families. We stayed at the WL, so the room discount saved us more money.

Wow, I really hope that they offer this! I would be paying 3715 for our stay!! That would be so sweet :) Does POR get included in this deal typically? Were there any exclusions( ie suites, villas etc.) ? TIA

Babydoll65,
We are looking at the same dates. Where did you see that price for POR? My quotes have POR at 200.81 avg/night.

The rate for a standard view for those dates is $176 for Sunday-Thursday, and $191 for Friday night (tax not included).

We ended up making our reservation over the phone but if you do it online it shows only the average price not the exact price you would pay in late fall when the average price drops. If I remember right, Sun- thurs is 179.00 per night Fri and sat was 191.00.
