25 is the minimum official offering from DVD and 50 is the minimum if financed by DVD. I can't imagine anyone being able to buy less than 25 points at a time due to this official policy.

I'm not sure if you're buying more points and splitting them into smaller contracts if they can be less than 25 but my bet would be not. I don't ever remember seeing a resale contract at TSS < 25.

When SSR went to $99 points we added on 60 points in March. I spent a lot of time looking at the point chart and we decided 60 would be the perfect amount of points. It was great...they gave me 2010 points which I banked right away. I couldn't be happier!

The smallest contract that we own is 85 points, however - it was purchased on the secondary market. That gives us 255 points to use (Bank, Use, Borrow) at Saratoga if we ever want to book a treehouse villa at 11 months out in either Adventure of Choice seasons!

If they ever reallocate at THV - I'm sure it will mess with our 'perfect' contract! HAHA

Until then, I have to keep my wife out of those points! She had been in the habit of using them first! BAH!

Our smallest add-on was 69 points at AKV. We figured out how many point we needed to do an every third year ressie. Of course, the best laid plans....They reallocated the points. Now we either have too many or not enough depending on the unit we need and the time of year. That's why we had to use buy the one time use points to complete our December reservation this year.

I don't know what actually happened in that particular case. It might have been a corrective measure, but not due a reallocation. The buyer has another deed for 210 points that was filed the month before. Its possible the buyer paid for 220 points but was erroneously issued a deed for only 210. Rather than reacquire the erroneous first deed and issue a corrected deed for 220 points (which, by the way, I have seen similar things happen), DVD merely issued a deed for 10 points.

I did a 30 point add-on at AKV. I originally purchased 100 points at Aulani but a few months later I decided that I needed 170. The incentives kicked in at 100 point add-ons so I added on 70 at Aulani and 30 at AKV. I also have a few 50 point contracts.

I wonder if they would let me do 15 points which would give me an even 300, that's even if they have any OKW points available.
