you are right I am a dreamer my dream is to save the world and yet I know it is not realistic however I can apply for a job I have 1 or 2 on my list and I can give the paycheck to my mom to pay who ever my mom hires
Your sentiment is good, however, the cost of her care is WAY more than you can make working at Walmart even FULL time. Plan on her care costing around $150-200/day, maybe more if she needs 24 hour care. It just isn't realistic to work full time and take care of someone with needs like your Grandma has full time. You will have ZERO time to do anything and eventually that will cause MAJOR problems with your health, your relationships, etc. It just isn't a good idea for ANYONE to take on this kind of responsibility.

Given that she lives off social security she will most likely qualify for Medicaid and can get placed in a nursing home. That is really the best and safest option all the way around if she needs 24 hour care. Call her county social services and ask to speak to someone about getting an elderly woman qualified for Medicaid. You can also look up online to see if there is an Ombudsman for seniors in her area. They will be able to walk you through the process.
