What is the QUIETEST DVC resort?

We had a very quiet stay at OKW this past March with the exception of the toddler next door who was obviously place in the living room away from it's parents. The child screamed for it's Mother for about 1 hr every night at about 1 am. You could hear Dad tell the child to go to sleep...to bad we had to listen to them weening their child from the "Mommy comes when I call" routine.

Oh no! It's vacation -- why would anyone do that? Put the kid in your bed until he falls asleep and then carry him into the living room, I say.

When we were at Kidani, my son had a couple of very loud meltdowns (he is special needs). Luckily, they happened during the daytime, but I was so worried about disturbing other guests that I ran around closing the balcony doors (we were in a 2BR, so there were three.) I did whatever I could to get him to stop screaming and then I dealt with the issue. I apologize to whomever stayed on the 2nd floor close to the Lobby at Kidani from March 6-13 and heard him.

As someone who works with children on a daily basis I was able to tune it out but boy did it bother the rest of the family. PP its understandable that children(even the parents) may have a meltdown.. Disney can be a sensory overload. Its parents like you who show the courtesy of trying to sound proof the noise who should be applauded:cool1:

I'd say SSR. Whenever we have stayed there it has seemed like we were the only people in the building. It is very quite. Never heard anyone in the rooms around us or out in the hall. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for your well thought-out responses. I am always amazed that everyone takes the time to explain everything so thoroughly on the DVC Boards (which is why I like to hang-out here!). We are going to be at BCV in a few weeks and while we are there trying to decide where to add-on. Stay tuned... :rolleyes1

Thank you for recognizing my effort. :upsidedow
