Ok, so potential thread hijack, but has anyone ever been asked for info to "validate" a multi-day hopper ticket?
My wife and mother-in-law both have APs, and I went with them plus my pair of toddlers this weekend. My own ticket was a 3-day hopper. On the 2nd day, upon entering DLR, a CM ran right up to me and asked me #1 whether it's my first day in the park, #2 what city I'm from, and #3 my ZIP code. I told her everything (I'm from the Bay so ummm semi-local I guess?), she jotted it down, said thanks and left me alone.
Not sure what that was about, but pretty sure it was to prevent ticket fraud, e.g., I use my ticket for the 1st and then sell it to someone else to use for the remaining days. I've been to DLR countless times and have never had that happen before? Was I giving off particularly "gangsta" vibes that day or is that some kind of new protocol?
