What is the procedure for using old, unused park passes?

We have 3 park hopper passes (1 day is left on each) and 3 single park passes from a visit to WDW over 4 years ago.

I know we can use them but not sure of the procedure:
Do we just go to guest services at our WDW resort and they will issue us current passes?

DO we just use our old passes?

One of the passes is for a child who is no longer deemed a child by Disney...what do we do with that pass?
