We had our first WDW vacation 9/11-9/22.
We felt we were pretty prepared (somewhat) I had read the dis boards, I bought the Birnbaums for myself and the kid version. So when we started out first day at Animal Kingdom, of course we knew that DD5 made the height requirement,,,, and DD8 had read all about EE. DD8 and DD5 knew ahead of time about the ride... the Yetti... the 'torn tracks'. Well having learned through the dis and the book that EE lines can fill up fast, we headed right to that attraction. Everyone we super excited. We get on... we ride... the girls get off and crying tell us they want to go home. (I am like "guys we are here for almost two weeks we can't go home) After much encouragement they enjoyed the rest of the trip.... Now, EE is the first thing they talk about when others ask about their vacation. My DD8 actually chose EE as her topic for a speech contest at her school. Go figure.
My kids also remember the geikos on the door of our room when we returned one night and the next night a frog above the door.

) on all week. Boo To You has fast become one of my favorite Disney songs.
He talks about EE a lot!
of getting in the ASSports line, taking that bus and walking over to our hotel, ASMu. As I tried hushing the kids, they kept saying, "This is the wrong line, we're taking the wrong bus", while we were getting out of line and getting into the ASSp line.
I didn't want anyone else to get the same idea as me until we were actually in the ASSp line. To make matters worse, we are "snaking" through the ASSp line and another bus hits the ASMo/ASMu bus. They had to unload a FULL ASMo/ASMu bus and wait for another one. I'm telling you, you could see steam rise
from the people waiting for that bus.
