What is the nicest thing someone from these boards have ever done for you???

Mine was a couple that had a ressie for CRT asked us to join them even though we were newbies. It was awesome. Thanks Krissalee.

There are so many that it is hard to rank them. Sometimes they are so incredibly generous like a FEDEX box with a trip to DISCON inside. Other times they are so simple and yet so profound - like a book that has never been read by the giver, or a bear from Harvard or some peach tea or a lucky penny that arrives at precisely a moment when I am feeling very low. DISers are a wonderful group of people.

Got the September, October, November and December calander pins for me.....'Cause I don't live that close to the Disney Store. NIce Package came in the mail yesterday with the first three.....then Sam Pm's me yesterday to tell me she got the December one too! Isn't that just sooooo nice!! Thanks PhotoBearSam!! You are the greatest!

A DISer who was on a whirlwind trip to WDW. I had asked them to pick up a couple of postcards (we are planning on surprising DS at Christmas with our Jan trip). Well, I got the postcards, and a tshirt, and a watch, and some toys, and some pins on a lanyard, and an autograph book, and some more pins, and on and on and on...I don't remember everything, because the box is well hidden at work (so DS does not find it).

JTB is right, they are such a special group of people.

since i'm still fairly "new" to the boards, i haven't had as many things happen yet...but one thing that stands out in my mind was being invited to join some fellow DISers on an illuminations cruise while on our honeymoon at WDW! it was the perfect ending to our wedding day and we got to meet a great group of people! thanks for the initial invite tc and thanks to tc and hubby, beauty, hubby, son, and mom, and jaypd and wife for a fun evening!!

Dan - Called and sent me a basket for my first time at WDW and also called on 9/11 mulitple time to make sure I was ok

Tony (TVT) Came and rescued me and comforted me for a bit on 9/11 while I was alone at WDW...

SSB comforted me on 9/11

so those are the best

EDITED to add: There have also been numerous people who have showed me support and kindness and related stories and I appreciate those more than I can tell you. So anyone who has done that for me... Thank you fromt he bottom of my heart!

Oh I can't just pick one thing. I had a friend from here send me a router when ours broke, another sent me some M&Ms when someother meanie "stole" the green ones from me, a few have sent me things they knew I'd like (CDs, videos, little bitty gifts). Two were so kind enough to give me a wonderful tour of their city when I came to visit and took care of me like I was one of their own. Not to mention countless phone calls, PMs and E-mails that have been sent just to give me support. In general there are some truly wonderful people out there!

Barry is a sweet fun and generous guy... Dan Murphy is also very kind, and so many other DIS'ers have been wonderful I got some nice candles from EdiePA, very cute ornament from Marla Hellwig, and lets see... wonderful generosity from JerseyJanice....
