what is the most under-rated 1 TS place to Eat?

My most under-rated 1ts restaurant is Captains Grill. It doesn't offer heavy Disney theming, but I still love the place. I enjoy the steak and the crab cakes ...... I'm about as adamant with this place being under-rated as I am about another place I feel is most over-rated (left nameless). :goodvibes

Kona Cafe is my pick. It is the one restaurant that is a must on all our trips. This year, we're doing Kona twice...once for dinner and once for breakfast.

Love the KONA!! I think it is our favorite 1TS in Disney. Love the open atmosphere, adore the steaks, and the desserts... well don't get me started!;)

Kona is great but I'd hardly say under-rated; it is pretty hard to get in to for dinner most nights.

I've been looking at a lot of restaurant threads and have pretty much concluded that every single restaurant at WDW has people who say "dreadful" and "never again", and also people who report wonderful experiences and food there. The only "under-rated" ones, I think, are the ones that are physically farther away at the resorts. Since Kona is on the monorail, more people find it than, say, Captain's Grill at the YC or Turf Club at SSR.

Captain's Grill. We have only eaten breakfast there but the food is good and it is nice and quiet every time we have been there. It is a nice break from the chaos and the servers are AMAZING.

Not sure about TS but for CS we hit up Wolfgang Puck Express a FEW times! Love that place........;)

The Wave is probably THE most underrated, but Kona Cafe and especially the Grand Floridian Cafe are really good choices, too.

Sanaa. It's not close to any parks except Animal Kingdom, and many guests think the food offerings are too "weird." But it's my favorite place to eat at WDW at the moment.

Kona seems to be coming into its own so I would say The Wave followed by The Grand Floridian Cafe. I honestly find it surprising that all three aren't more popular since they are on the monorail line and the TS options in the MK are so lacking.

I'd say Raglan Road at DTD. It usual gets great reviews, but isn't mentioned much on the boards. We all love it. It's the only place I'm considering repeating this trip.

Definitely Tony's Town Square. My family has Italian roots, and it is very difficult to find even halfway decent Italian food out. Tony's surprised us cuz we hadn't been there in years, and [the eggplant parm] was awesome. Atmosphere is great too cuz you get to sit in the middle of the magic of Main st.

Thanks for that recommendation. I'm trying to make my last ADR and Tony's is on the short list of possibilities. It's nice to hear a great review.

I agree with Tony's. We have gone there the last three trips and have never had a bad meal. We really enjoy it

Wolfgang Puck's is CS ???? For realz ?? Switching my plan if it is !!

Wolfgang Puck's Express is a counter service.

Wolfgang Puck's down near the movie theatre is a TS.
