Specific to Disney, a very generous family member took the wide, extended family to WDW for a week during the Millennium and had us all stay at the Swan & Dolphin as a once-in-a-lifetime type family reunion. Watching the fireworks going off at EPCOT as we went from 1999 to 2000 from the Presidential suite was amazing and the family time was priceless!

I tutored a friend who was an exchange student from Japan when we were both in high school. Her family surprised me with a 6 week all expense paid trip to Japan. They even paid for my passport.

Off the top of my head - a first class seat on a flight. But not totally for free, I had paid for the lowest economy seat onboard.
