What is the meaning behind your screen name?

Mine came about when I was little and my Aunt Rita would tickle me under the chin and would say sukie, sukie doo. So the Sukie part stuck. The only one that calls me that now is DH.

I'm a fan of the show CSI so it's (Captain Jim) Brass and (Catherine) Willow(s). When I was younger there was also an aspect of the idea of the strength of metal and the fragility of a willow tree.:hippie: But I'm older and less angsty now.

I remember them times lol. A little AlanisMorrisette angsty:cool1:
Like the tree and metal deep thoughts.:)

is my first name (Lynn) minus 1 N..and I love to cross stitch..hence the xstch...= lynxstch

Mine if very self-explanatory I guess when you combine my name with my avatar. it could have been luvsjd or luvsjohnny but since it is a disney board I figured luvsjack is more fitting.

Mine is pretty self-explanatory. I found an earlier version of this site when I was planning a trip.

My screen name was actually my daughters. This was the first boards I would let her post on, but I wanted to "monitor" her. So when she was creating her screen name she used her nickname "tinker". I was asking what she was going to use as her password, and under her breath she started saying, "n this suppose to be fun". I made her add the 'n'Fun, which is me:lmao:.

I adore Val Kilmer, and one of my fav Val movies is Willow.

It's a fantasy movie, Val plays a Han Solo-esque adventurer; "The Greatest Swordsman that ever lived!" :lmao:
Joanne Whaley Kilmer (they married after this movie, but eventually divorced) played the female lead, she was a red-headed swordswoman named Sorsha. They were adversaries for most of the movie and she got to kick his butt a lot. Then there was romantic entanglement and they got to smooch a lot.

I use "Sorsha" or some varient thereof for my screenname almost everywhere I go on the net. It's even in my email addy. :)

My name is Darla, but that was already taken, so i just added the k, which is the initial of my middle name.

A dear, (now gone), poster once asked if it was supposed to be a reference to someone on the Dr. Who series. I've never seen the show though and can't remember now what the actual name was of the character she was referring to.

mine is very original.....my name....but with a wicked twist....I didn't use a capital letter....:rotfl2:

Mine is easy....my name is Michelle and my last name is VanWinkle...so that's where the VW comes in.

Fergie is my cat (and avatar). The "T" is for "The". As in "Kermit T. Frog."

Im fae Scotland and Im a lassie !! :)

Mine is just the combination of my boys names.

I took the first 3 letters of my oldest's name MASON and the last 3 letters of my youngest's name ALEX

MASLEX

I had requested a user name change (which it seems can only be done for a very serious reason) and had to think of a new one fast - I was about to become a first time grandmother so the one I have now popped into my head. Not clever or creative, but it suits me fine. :thumbsup2

Fun thread - thanks!
