Can you please tell me about this attraction(s).

What is Poseidon's Fury?

Are these appropriate for children?

Thank you in advance.

Its a show with loads of special effects and also Lost Continent has the Dueling Dragons coaster and the Unicorn coaster( good for the kiddies) also some nice shops and eating areas don't miss Sinbad or the Mystic fountain:cool:

Poseidon's Fury is a great show, but some of it gets a little intense - complete darkness, fire, loud noises, idea of being trapped, etc. It could be hard on very little ones, or bigger ones who are sensitive. What age children do you have? Also, you move from room to room and sometimes it is hard for shorter people to see what is going on. That being said, we LOVE the show, but our youngest is 14.

My 10 year old enjoyed Poseidon's Fury even though we had to work a little so he could see in some areas. He also loved the queue of Dueling Dragons even though he wouldn't ride on it. It's fun to just walk through the queue when the lines are short.

The Lost Continent has some of the best theming I've even seen. It's really an interesting area. There's also a magic fountain that messes with the kids, check it out but remember how much IOA uses water effects. ;)

My 14 month old kind of liked it. At least she didn't cry. She's a pretty tough kid though. I did have to carry her the whole way which was nice but my back sure complained later.

The fountain is a must see with or without kids. just go up close and have a look;)

The lost continent is the most beautifull part of the park, it is themed from stories such as king aurther, The voyages or sinbad, Ali Babba and the 40 thieves and even an area on greek mythology. It flows in between the three themes very well... I felt very strange when i first visited here... its not your usual "theme park" type atmosphere... who knows maybe it was that Turkey Leg talking from the lunch I had from the Enchanted Oak Tavern... I had SUCH a tummy ache for like two hours... I began to feel like the crouds were closing in on me... but really its a gorgeous place. dont miss it make sure you go into the shops, there is a coin mint and the guys who strike the coins with these wieghts that make impressions on them are HILLARIOUS... we spent nearly half an hour at the coin mint just having fun... its alomst a show... it was great.

And, absolutely, don't miss Mythos. This is definitely the best restaurant in any themepark, anywhere. My family cannot do a trip without eating there. Just the scenery inside the restaurant is awesome.
We also love Sinbad. My kids watch my video of this show constantly. The stunts are great and the effects really intense. Definitely get there early enough to sit close (but not too close ;) ).
