What is the longest walk you've made in one day?

I'd have to say it was when I was with a group of teens on a bus tour. We got bored and decided to walk home. It took 6 hours, and we could hardly move the next day. But it was a fun walk.

I don't know how far it was, but when I was in germany I would walk from town to town on the backroads, just because I was bored.

I don't know how far it was but I use to walk from Back Bay in Boston to Harvard Square, and from there to Medford. It was a long walk and I use to do it on a regular basis when I lived up in MA.

i did a 20 mile walk for a charity (that was a fun walk!! i went with a few friends and by the 15th mile we were no longer speaking cause we were hurting so bad!) when i was in london we used to walk all over the city, it was so much fun and you couldn't really tell how far you'd gone because theres so much to see.

I've done the 10-mile CROP walk (charity), and a couple years ago when DH and I were at Tahquamenon Falls in the upper peninsula we decided to take the walk between the upper and lower falls. It was about 4-1/2 miles each way if I remember correctly. The walk up was difficult, uphill, meandering through the woods with stumps/roots to walk over and around, lots of stairs too. But we made it....whew!!! Coming back down was so much easier!! It was fun, I'd do it again.

I did twenty for a cancer walk-a-thon. I could walk everywhere if I had too.
