My wife even found our "4 Day, Three Parks Passes" (that's all the parks they had then) with an unused day on each! Any guesses on what a 4 day pass cost in 1992?
FYI, as far as I know, you will be able to use those tickets for any of the 3 parks that were open at the time. Do not use the $$ value towards new tickets...for example, if they cost $25 back then, you would only get $25 towards new tickets. Just use that ticket.
My first trip was was back in 1971. Dad was stationed in Tampa and took us kiddos. Many trips during his tour. But dad got transfered and our life went on without WDW.
34 years later I went back.
Now my DH and I plan to go every year.
Longest time for Disneyland - went in 1967 with my parents, went in 2005 with my DH and DS
Longest time for WDW - 5 years, waiting for our son to be old enough to have fun. We have gone several times since then usually a year or two in between, but we have another 5 year wait after next year, while our son is in college - can't swing both!!
To WDW ? it will be four years by the next time I go. During the presidential election of 2008. Then I wont have to listen to campaign TV ! In-between I get a fix nearer me at Disneyland.
Our longest since I have become addicted to Disney is 16 months . It looks like it could be longer as the DW says thats enough for awile she wants go go else where. I keep telling her we can go to Epcot to see different countrys.
The longest time for us was 11 yrs. From 1984 to 1995. Since then we have been back at least twice a year, if not 3 times if we can squeeze out the cash.
I haven't been to WDW since 1983. With a local Six Flags in both places I've lived (Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth), I got my coaster fix without a plane ticket. Headed back to WDW in June for a coaster convention, can't wait!
The longest for me was 6 years. I was in agony for more that one reason. Not only did I not go on a trip to Disney. I didn't get to take a vacation at all during those years. Painful.
9 years for us We took our DD in 1996. She was really too young to enjoy it. She did love Small World. We took our first family vacation Sept. 2005 with all three of our children. It was absolutely amazing They had a grand time and can't wait to go back Won't they be amazed with our surprise trip this Sept shhhhhhhh
