What is the lime green mickey heads about?

This is our first time stay with the DVC. We are staying at the BCV in 15 days! My family has had many mini trips to see The Mouse, but since my sister has moved from Orlando back to Ohio (GO BLUE) we are forced to stay for a whole week at Disney! I have read more on the boards than I did back in school. I have gotten great ideas and tips. I am wondering what in the world is with the lime green mickey heads you place on your room windows and backpack? Is this code for something? Can you tell I am new!

The Lime Green (Alien Green) Mickey Head is a paint sample from Home Depot in the shape of Mickey ears. It is a way of saying that you are a member of the Disboards and thereby recognizing someone else as a member of the Disboards. You can write your Disboard screen name on them and then place them in your resort window, or wear them while you walk around the parks. Basically, it is a cool way of saying..."Hey, we are all Mickey Mouse & Disney groupies!"
