What is the latest with Splash Mt.?

Not that WDW cares about my opinion, but I've often wondered why the rumored Princess and The Frog satisfies both the inclusion and "Frontier" element of Frontierland. I'm all up for a whole new story at SM and with a story that is based upon the Mexcian Baja Mountain, like Cerro Prieto, and add some IP (Coco?) with the new story and let it rip. I don't really need a re-telling of a movie. I'm up for a new adventure. I think that's why I liked RoTR so much. That's pretty close to California and a Frontier themed consistent with the land itself. But, if the SM is going to be changed to telling Tiana's story in the Bayou and New Orleans, then that seems thematically out of place with Frontierland.

Naturally, if with a Tiana theme ride there is a beniegh stand outside of the attraction, to heck with theming and give me Tiana till my belly is going to burst.

The beignet stand is actually the best idea I've heard yet.. Why did I not thin of this myself? lol
