What is the latest update on the refrig ?

This is all that is on Disney's CM Hub; so far no mention of CR.

I called a week or so ago to put a fridge request down for Pop kids medicine. The cm I spoke to said chances are very high that we would have one and "not to worry"

Not sure whether I really believe it or not. I guess we'll see.

Please note that a medicine fridge is about the size of a shoe box.

I saw another post on here saying they were only offering the $15/night credit to people with a medical need for a fridge that didn't get one, may I ask if that was the case for you, or you just got the credit by asking? We're going to Pop at the end of October and I'm going to be hoping for that credit!

My family and I are at AOA nOw in a LM room. We checked in on August 7. We did online check-in. When I asked the woman at check-in if we could have a fridge she said she would have one sent up to us. After we got to our room and checked in we received a phone call from the lady who checked us in. She asked if we had purchased food yet. I said no (just had stuff that did not need refrigerated) and she advised that I not buy any food. She asked if we had any medical needs and I said we didn't. She said she spoke with her manager and they were only giving fridges to those who had medical needs. She did not mention any monetary compensation and I didn't ask for any. It has been a bit of a pain since we had planned on having breakfast in the room but we are just filling our cooler with ice and dealing with it. Hope this helps someone!

I DO have medicine that must be kept in the fridge so hopefully, I will be able to get a fridge. We are at POR in Oct. We cannot bring a cooler as we are flying from the west coast. I bring my medicine on an icepack. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Shoot!!! I guess it's not looking good for us. We check in to a Nemo Suite on Wednesday. My parents are in a Cars suite, also checking in on Wednesday. My sister checks into a Little Mermaid room on Friday. I just sent them a text to not plan on having a fridge. My dh is not going to be happy. He was really looking forward to having drinks nice and cold when we get back to our room.

****EDIT**** I just looked at the original post on the Dis blog and it says that the family suites at AoA are exempt from the replacement. I think I will call today and find out.

OMG, what will $15/day do? My mom is coming with us and she needs the fridge for her insulin. We are checking into POP on Thursday. I already put in a medical needs request. There better be a fridge or I'll be raising all kinds of stink about it.

From what I read the family suites at AoA were exempt from the change. Cars, Nemo, and LK should all still have fridges. It's the LM rooms that don't.

Did you call the resort or the call center? if you are getting your info from the call center it may not be accurate. If resort is saying you will have it I trust that more. Believe me some CSR have a mindset of tell what they want to hear to get them off the phone.
Just want you to be aware in case they don't have one for you.
