Thank you for all the input. It is interesting to see how much the hourly rate varies from region to region. Anyway, I've thought about this all weekend and decided on $20/hour. I talked with both parents today and they both seemed comfortable with the price. After reading some of these responses I do feel that maybe it is a little low, but since I've never tutored before, this is a price I feel comfortable with. If I continue to tutor I'll probably increase the hourly rate.
