The dolphins on top of the Dolphin are actually the mythological versions of the dolphin. They are also all around WDW./QUOTE]
Actually, there are two types of Dolphin, the mammal, which is similar to the porpoise, and the fish, which is a tropical creature, refered to by the Hawaiians as mahi mahi, and is the one depicted at the swan and dolphin.

Talking to my dad about his trip right now:
Test Car Ride = Test Track
Tour of Fear = Tower of Terror
Photo Press = Photo Pass
Saying Disney World instead of Magic Kingdom is no better or worse than saying MGM instead of DHS. The Magic Kingdom WAS Disney World until 1982. DHS was MGM until the contract ran out. Although I would be much more likely to do the first because I went to the Magic Kingdom before Epcot several times, but I was never in DHS when it was MGM.
What I do, that may annoy some, is refer to the Peoplemover. The ride has not changed since that was the name, and I just LIKE Peoplemover better than TTA. Also it can be easy to confuse the acronyms TTA and TTC, which are VERY different.
My DH asked if I wanted to go to "Interventions" instead of Innoventions.![]()
We call the Swan & the Dolphin, "The Trout & The Duck"

Actually, it is a classical representation of a dolphin based on the work of Italian sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
Never even realized it until now!
The dolphin does NOT look like a dolphin.
The biggest Blunder I ever heard was once... beleive it or not... I heard someone call "Stich's Great Escape" a good ride....
