offered to annual pass holders and Florida residents. The DDE costs some money but provides a 20% discount at a number of TS locations. The card is good for up to ten people if all are on the same bill. Alcoholic beverages are included. Some CS locations where TS is not available also take the DDE card. There is an automatic 18% gratuity added for TS locations.
It is awesome. We do a lot of table service, mostly signature dining, so we just love it. Since it covers large parties, alcohol, the savings really add up and we save $ and get to try lots of places at a discount. FWIW.
Our Disney family of 4 loves this card 20% off what we WANT to eat, no credits or counting, no menu limitations, no overeating. Just 20% off the entire bill (liquor included) and the tip already in the final total. We've used it 3 trips now and the servers absolutely love it when you say you're on it. Very simple for them and no hassling over the bill/selections like on the DDP. twice in June I stood in line at our resort's food court behind a family that didn't understand their DDP and the clerk was trying to point out what they couldn't do...they were stressed out, the line was forming behind them...it was horrible. I just step up, present the card, and move on in a minute. I buy an AP, then 2 DDE cards--good for 12 months--and schedule 2 trips in that window. Our savings are around $300 because we eat almost exclusively at TS and at the resort. IT WORKS
As I have the >Annual pass I also thought of buying the DDEbut have a few questions.
Do you show the card before you dine?
Because of this is the service just as good or as the server knows he is getting a tip anyway he wont be to attentive?
Will I not feel embarrast not giving a tip personally and will this lead me to leave more anyway?

We never show our card first. We give it to the server near the end of the meal. The gratutity will be added to your bill regardless of your party size. We have used the DDE card for 3 years and it's a real savings for us because we go to WDW 7-9 weeks a year total. Plus our group size goes from 2 to 11 depending on the trip.
As mentioned, this is available to AP holders, Florida residents, and Cast Members. We have several CM friends that now purchase the card because of the dining blackouts that they have to deal with. They love it, esp. the discounts that they don't get with the CM IDs (like adult beverages!)

We show our card at the end too. It should be noted that the auto-tip is 18%. We typically do 20% for good service, and maybe a bit more for great service, so we usually end up adding some on.
