So now we're looking at possibly staying on site and the website shows it shows that it comes with 6 Day Park Hopper® souvenir ticket.
What is the difference between the Souvenir ticket and a regular 6 day hopper ticket?

Regular tickets are paper. The souvenir tickets are plastic.
Ohh.. lol. I was hoping it came with extra MM than a regular ticket. I know there's a private entrance but can you get in any earlier that 8am on regular admission days?

Well, I'll tell you one better...

If you stay at an on-site hotel, you get to use the MM ANY day it is offered during your stay, not just once. You just show your room key at the entrance. So, you can go to the parks an hour early on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, AND Sunday if you'll be there for those days. It is a perk for those staying on-site.

OoOoO - this makes it very tempting to stay on site.

You know, I've seen this posted somewhere else before too. But on my Reservation for the GCH it says *Admission-6 day park hopper souvenir ticket, one magic morning...... :confused3

It's kind of like an unspoken rule. The printed collateral says one, but when you check in, they will explain that you can use it at any time.

Yes, your ticket comes with one magic morning. Staying on site comes with the rest. If you look up the GCH on disneyland.com it says this: Magic Morning Early Entry

On select days, Guests of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa with valid Disneyland Park admission are eligible to enter the Park before it opens to the general public.*

And I can verify, we just stayed onsite (DLH) and you get in to any MM with your room key. A very nice perk!
