What is the difference between a dedicated....

2br or I think its called a lock out 2br???

Just not sure which would be best, we are entertaining my DH's life time friend, wife and 2 children. Hummmmm, the whole privacy,two balconies...one balcony.....ughhhh. You can see where I need help yes?? THANKS SO MUCH!!!!! Oh we will be at OKW.

Dedicated 2bd room has only 1 entry way and no wetbar in the 2nd bedroom. A lockoff is a combination 1 bedroom/ studio. There is a seperate entry door to the studio portion and the wetbar/ kitchenette. The lockoff will have seperate balconies- not sure if the dedicated will have 2 balconies as well...

The lock off will have an inside door to the other room and an ourside door to the one bedromm and one outside door to the studio.
The dedicated will have one entrance door and a seperate door to the bedrooms unit is one unit.

that's where the "lock off" term comes from! once you LOCK the connecting door on both sides you now have a one bedroom and a studio.

Same if you book "dedicated studio" there won't be a connecting door to a one bedroom so there's slightly more space available since the door doesn't have to be framed out

A dedicated two bedroom at OKW will only have one porch, none off the second bedroom. It will have a very large closet where the exit/entrance would have been if it was a lockoff. And the kitchenette will be replaced with a second bathroom sink area outside the bathroom.

A dedicated cannot be split into a one bedroom and studio. It's a two bedroom, always. A lockoff can be reserved as a one bedroom or a studio or a two bedroom. It's just a matter of unlocking the door between the studio and one bedroom to make it a two bedroom.
