What is the crowd level at DL the week before Thanksgiving?

We are in the process of planning our yearly Disneyland trip. I started a new job and won't be able to have decent vacation time until August. My husband and I were thinking of going for a few days the week of November 14-18. Both of my daughter's birthday's fall in that week and we thought it would be fun to take them on their actual birthday's.
Just curious what the crowd level is like around that time. Will the Christmas decor be out?? Do they have fireworks at night? We usually go the 2nd week of June so I am clueless about visiting in the fall. HELP!

We went the Thurs-Mon before Thanksgiving a couple years ago and Thursday was fabulous with light crowds and Christmas decor. However on Friday evening it got VERY busy and stayed that way throughout the weekend...packed! I don't recall if they had fireworks on Thursday but the Christmas activities (Santa, parade, etc) started that Friday.

We were there the Wed., Thurs, and Fri before Thanksgiving last year, and the crowds were very, very light. I think the longest we waited for anything was 20 min. It was great!
