of getting a tree house at the 7 month mark.also how long does it take to get to the parks by bus.or is it faster and easyer to drive.we have never drove to the parks, always stayed onsite and just rode buses.

The tree houses ARE onsite! The bus will be about the same as taking a bus from any other resort. A little longer to AK, but MK, EP, and DHS will be in the 10-15 minute range once the bus leaves your bus stop.

As for getting a Tree House at 7 months....they haven't been open long enough to get a good feel for that, and I'm sure it would depend on the time of year too.

They do share buses with Saratoga Springs Resort, so you would have a slightly longer bus ride than some of the other resorts.

My friend and her family just got back last week from the Treehouse Villas. They got an upgrade as part of the 4/3 deal. So availability may be difficult through the length of time that the 4/3 deal is on.

for the reply Dianeschlicht.I heard the tree house buses only run back to SSR.then you had to get on a bus to the parks. if this is so how slow is this.it sounds like a lot of bus waiting.we are thinking of taking some freinds with us on our june trip and was thinking about the tree houses.have sayed at SSR before and enjoyed it very much.home resort is BLT but a 2 br runs a little over our points.just tring to do some research.thanks for everything.

The tree houses are part of SSR. You need to take SSR buses. Why not look at a GV at OKW? They are huge and will offer more sleeping options than the Tree houses. Or maybe a 2 bedroom plus a studio. OKW bus times are a bit better than SSR too. I haven't stayed at SSR for quite awhile, but last time we were there, we thought the buses were generally slower than at OKW.

i dont know about the 7 months window but i was lucky getting one at the 11 months window . as for transport i usually would take the car to epcot ,studios, animal kingdom and the water parks ,then if we decide to do something else our options or open

About 1/4 to 1/3 of the Treehouses are close enough to The Grandstand area that you could walk from your THV to the Grandstand bus stop in about 5-7 minutes. Then it's just a matter of using the SSR bus system as usual.

To take the THV-to-SSR shuttle will add about 15 minutes to your trip each way. The shuttles run about every 10 minutes. There are two stops in the Treehouse area. At either you can catch the shuttle which will drop you off at The Springs. Then you just need to wait for the theme park bus to arrive.

From reading on other threads, I think your chances of getting a Treehouse at 7 months is slim to none. Since there are only 60 treehouses they go quick. Good Luck! Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones.
