:grouphug: What is the best way to work your way around MK, we wanted to start in Fantasy land, but after that, what would be the best way to get around.

do you guys go Land by Land, or jump around from attraction to attraction...

HELP

If you go from attraction to attraction there is no need to have any other touring strategy but if you are cicumventing the place it helps to go counterclockwise. This places you against the flow so to speak as most crowds move clockwise. In my opinion this only assists you early when heading to attractions that may get long lines early and only if one of those happens to be on the right hand side of the park-tomorrowland. There is little benefit to this by mid morning in my experience. We generally go from attraction to attraction using fast pass as a tool to get to rides that have been swamped immediately. We ride something we can get to after securing a fastpass for a ride that we want to do next. It does not always time out just right but more often than not it will.

Personally I just jump from attraction to attraction rather then do land to land. Oviously if there is more than one attraction in one land though, i will do them before I move onto something else if you get what I mean

If you get there when they open and are trying to avoid crowds, then my suggestion is to hit the most popluar attractions first and get them done, because more than likely, they will be packed later on in the day. If you get the Park Hopper option for your tickets, then what you don't get done one day, you can always go back.

I will tell you the ride we waited the longest for was Peter Pan..for some reason that ride is always packed!

Have a magical trip!

Maybe I was going about it all wrong... I figured it was easiest to work from one land to the next, hitting all the attractions at each place then move on.
I guess we could still do it that way, I will have 2.5 days at MK. No way to see the entire park in one day anyway.... ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

my feet hurt to bad to jump around :cool1: so we do everything we want to do in one land then move onto the next challenge.usually we circle via tl, fl, frtl,al fashion then do tt if we want to and m. st. last. we go off season so crowds are not that big an issue and go to morning emh so we are usually close to 1/2 done in fl before lots get there.( we don't do everything everytime either)

I also go land by land. Then I know I didn't miss anything in a land. At the end of the night we'll just do our last few favorites.

I do the same thing as most everyone else - jump around and hit the potentially long-lined rides first (or get fastpasses for them), like Space Mtn & Splash Mtn. We usually jump around the parks because we aren't interested in seeing every single attraction.

If I were going to go from land to land, I would start with Fantasyland. Not many of the rides have fastpasses there, so you want to ride them early before the crowds hit.

If you want to really avoid lines, and don't mind some structure to your day, the Unofficial Guide's web site at touringplans.com have some great strategies. You can download all the touring plans for less than $5/year.

hi
usually go to the back of the park first (early morning) ride splash mountain then thunder mountain. then work anti clockwise from there. this usually works quite well as most people enter the park hang around main street and do the early castle forecourt show and then go to fantasy land.
