We will be driving to BCV for the first time and we were wondering what works best for getting the luggage to the room. I know valet parking is available and I remember people talking about how close the parking lot is to the villas. I think I would probably want to borrow a luggage cart and cart it up to the room myself because I want to be able to get to my car in an instant. So, what do the experts recommend and why do you do it the way you do?

Thanks!

Bell services doesn't let the carts out of their hands. If you want to use a cart, they'll have to load it, push it, unload it and take the tip out of your hands. But you can park closer to the villas at BCV and carry it up yourself in several trips if needs be. There is a set up elevators at the back door by the pool. Other elevators are near the lobby area.

We usually unload ourselves (luggage on wheels helps) and park ourselves at BCV.

The BCV's have their own parking lot. Depending on where you room is, you may be fairly close to the room, or you could have a longer haul. Its certainly feasable for you to handle the luggage yourself, especially if its the kind with wheels.

We hit the grocery store before planning to unload and find it easiest to drive up to bell services and let them take care of getting EVERYTHING for us at once. When we leave we usually pre-pack the non-essential bags the night before (everyone making one trip to the car) and then do a final rolling bag departure that morning.

Don't forget that if you use bell services you're expected to tip twice: once to the person who unloads your car and then to the person who brings it to your room--we usually do $10. per person but YMMV.

thanks for all of the great tips! anyone else?
