What is the best valued lunch at MK?

We like the Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square. You can check out the menu at http://allearsnet.com/index.html . I find the portions are large enough for the younger kids to share. My husband and I will share either the chicken salad or the veggie sandwich. They are both excellent.
Here's another tip. All counter service restaurants will provide a cup of ice or ice water for free. I carry some powdered drink mix in a small plastic container or ziplock bag and we mix our own drinks. Everyone has a sippy type cup on a strap, so we just keep refilling and save a lot of money on sodas or bottled water.
Enjoy your trip. Nancy

we like pecos bill because they have things you add to hamburger, i.e. lettuce, tomatoe, so you can fill up on them.

At Cosmic Rays, they have a 1/2 roasted chicken meal with mashed potatoes and vegetable for $7.29 and also a 1/2 roasted chicken with barbecue ribs and mashed potatoes and vegetable for $13.89. These could feed several people, depending on how old and how hungry everyone is.

we ate at both columbia house and cosmic rays last year both had very good food and reasonable prices. if you eat at columbia house eat upstairs nice and quiet and cool plus you can sit by the window and look out at the park. the roasted chicken at cosmic rays is yummy.

We love Cosmic Ray's. The footlong hotdog is enough for two kids if you cut it in half. For kids or adults, you can always order the double cheeseburger adn an extra bun - put the extra patty on the extra bun and VOILA two burgers! They also have a fixin's bar where you can load up and fill up. Also - remember that you can order items a la carte - if they offer a hamburger meal with fries and a drink, you can get just the burger at a lower price.

It helps that my daughter LOVES watching the 'show' and it's a decent place to sit for a while and recharge for the rest of your day. Don't miss the moving, talking trash can outside......

There's also Casey's on Main Street. They are VERY inexpensive compared to the rest of WDW! We had 2 adults (one man who likes ALOT lol), 2 children (5 & 3). We ate (and we couldn't finish all our food) for about $15.00. We could have easily just gotten one footlong for the boys to split, a regular hot dog for each adult and 2 orders of fries to split between everyone. And they are SOOOOO Yummy!! :D

Cosmic Rays! A grat deal when feeding a family. And there are even some "talking trash cans"!

On a side note, the counter service places all show their sandwhiches as meals with fries, but if you ask, you can get just the burger, or hotdog or ham and cheese or whatever and save about $2.00. We did this and just got one as a meal and then we all split the fries...you get plenty of them!

Another vote for Cosmic Ray's ! I think its about the best value in any of the parks along with restrauntasauros

Cosmic Rays!
THEY HAVE KIDS MEALS FOR $3.99!

They are served in a Mickey Mouse shaped plate. The meals are a chicken nugget meal with french fries, or a two chicken drum stick meal with mashed potatoes. Both are served with an apple sauce and a drink. You can not beat that for $3.99...McDonalds cost as much as that! :teeth:
