Hi to all,

I'm planning a trip to Disney this fall with my husband and both of my sons (4yrs & 18 months). I want to avoid the crowds, school holidays, and the extreme heat. What will be the best time to visit Disney this fall in regards to low crowds and not so hot temperatures?

I'm looking at the following dates:
September 25th through October 1st
October 16th-22nd
October 23rd-30th
October 31st through November 6th

Which dates will you pick and why? What have been your experiences with visiting Disney during the fall months? Please recommend any other dates that I have not listed if you've found those times to be better. Any advice about Disney during the fall is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!:)

We like to go for Thanksgiving because of the nice weather and the kids are out of school. We get there the Thursday before Thanksgiving week. That week before is wonderful. Very low crowds those couple of days. I would imagine the whole week is the same. If my kids were younger I would definitly go tht week. I less than one hour we were able to ride Toy Story Mania twicw and go across the way and get pics with Buzz and woody. Have fun and take advantage of this time before your kids start school

We've done mid September two times and loved it. The weather was still good, and the crowds were very low. Almost anytime you pick in the fall when school is in session will be very enjoyable.

We went at the end of September 2 years ago and loved it so much we are going back at the same time this year. Crowds were low and the weather was awesome!!

I'd go with the September date. We have Fall Break in october and crowds are still low, but we used to go in September before children old enough for school, and that was always the best for us.

I'd go September if staying on property you may get free dinning!!!! Low crowds we loved it

We went last year mid October. The lines were pretty short although we did rides that our 4 year old wanted to ride. The longest line we waited in was 20 minutes which was Peter Pan.

It was still hot although we came from SC so the temp wasn't much different. It wasn't so hot that I was sweltering but it still was pretty warm. We did the pool once.

I hope you enjoy your trip.

We went on our first trip this past November the week of Veteran's Day. The crowd levels were low. We walked onto most rides or had very short waits. The temperatures were nice. We were able to wear shorts every day except one.

We went the first week of Oct this past year, and it was stinking hot! Mid to high 90s every day and humdity 95% - however, they say that was a record heat wave for FL in Oct. If I had to do it over again I'd have waited a bit. The week after we left it was mid 80s.

I think the UK has a holiday later in Oct, so be aware that just becuase our kids here are not on break, it doesn't mean there won't be big crowds from other places.

We went 2 weeks this year, your last two dates. The last week in Oct., and the first week in Nov. I prefered the last week in Oct. because it was less crowded, and it was very festive with halloween. the next week starts Jersey week, and while it wasn't "busy", it was definitely busiER.

We went the last week of October last year and the parks seemed empty... It was great. We definitely felt like we got to do a whole lot more than we usually do.

I've been columbus day week and it was bit more crowded (not unmanagable) because of the holiday.

We will be doing columbus day week this year so we will only miss 4 days of school.

The weather was great this past year...but we have experienced trips in Oct with lots of rain.

I've never gone early September but I would imagine its the same...maybe increase possibility of tropical storms?

I'd go with the September date. We have Fall Break in october and crowds are still low, but we used to go in September before children old enough for school, and that was always the best for us.

When do the southern states have Fall Break in October?

I am another person that would highly recommend the middle of September. Low crowds - still nice and warm and again you might get free dining during the time you are there.

I know a lot of people like to go when they are decorated for Halloween but it can be crowded.

We've also gone Thanksgiving week - went to the parks Sun - Friday and the days Sun-Tue were low crowds...Wed-Fri - VERY crowded. A perk is that they are decorated for Christmas at that time.

Good Luck!
