I have an upcoming cruise on the Disney Dream and i hear a lot of good things of the Spa but I'm having a hard time deciding what is going to be the best one?.. It my first time so I'm looking for the full experience and LOTs of relaxation time!

thanks

i'm interested in some perspectives on a particular type of massage or treatment. I want to purchase Spa time for my husband as a birthday gift, but I really don't have perspective on what might be a good spa experience on the Dream. TIA!

Ive done a swedish massage on carnival before and it was good i just wanted to try something different..

The services aren't that unique from other spas. Any massage can be a good one as long as you speak up about what you like or don't like and pressure used. Personally, I love the hot stone massages. My favorite thing about the spa on the Dream we're the theme showers and relaxing on the heated tile beds.

Is this available on The Dream? It sounds wonderful.

Couples Villas
These include spa treatment rooms, private verandah, personal whirlpool, open air shower, roman bed with canopy, bathing ritual of your choice, tea ceremony, and a foot cleansing ceremony.

Couple’s Choice
Duration 130 min – Price $475

The Couple’s Choice delivers 130 minutes of luxury and includes a 75-minute spa treatment of your choice. Select from a range of treatments such as the Elemis Aroma Stone Therapy, an Elemis Cellutox Aroma Spa Ocean Wrap, an Elemis Musclease Aroma Spa Ocean Wrap, an Exotic Lime & Ginger Salt Glow with half-body massage, an Exotic Frangipani Body Nourish Wrap with half-body massage, or an Exotic Coconut Rub & Milk Ritual Wrap with half-body massage.

Don't forget to go into the Spa on embarkation day as they will have a special that is a bit of a "taster menu" for different things for about 75 minutes. Facial, back massage, scalp massage and foot massage I think are included.

I have to agree with the hot stone massage! Amazing!

There is some special, I believe called Alone Time (but, I could be wrong), where you get a massage or a facial and then you have your own jacuzzi and chill out area for a while. @franandaj posted about it in one of her trip reports. Maybe she will see this and post about it. It may have been on the Wonder, though.

I haven't tried the treatments but the Rainforest Day Pass itself was pretty amazing and affordable! (16$)

Another vote for Rainforest - it's the least expensive per hour, and the most flexible to fit into your schedule, and it is so relaxing.

I have to say that I have been disappointed in hot stone massages. I can't remember if that's what I did on DCL or not. They seem too weak, but I like medium to high pressure. I am thinking of the bamboo massage, because I have not been anywhere that does that. Anyone have any opinions?

@soniam i haven't done bamboo, but on the last cruise i was on was Carnival and they did a orientation kind of thing and showed us a sample on our arm of how the Bamboo would feel. In my opinion if your looking for medium to high pressure i would recommend it, it seems like they put a little more pressure with this kind of massage. I was actually going to pick this massage for my husband he looks for the same thing too.

That's what I was hoping. I could picture someone rolling the bamboo back and forth, kind of like a high density foam roller. Thanks
