We are considering staying in Pop Century when we go in June and could use any and all help that you can provide.

Here are a few of our questions:

What section is the Mickey phone , the Big Wheel, and Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head in?

Which section has the best Pool?

Which section is closest to the bus stops?

If there is anything that you can add that we might want to consider?

We usually stay in ASMovies and love the Toy Story section.
I really don't know why there isn't a hotel devoted completly to Toy Story, Bug's Life, Lion King, Little Mermaid, etc.

That is the best part of staying at ASMovies. It's as if you never leave the parks. Everywhere you look you see Disney, Disney, Disney. We love that!

Thanks in advance

We just got back from a week at Pop, we loved it. We spent from 9/17 - 24 there. We were located in the 80's section. The Mickey, Big Wheel are around 70's. We had really cool huge rubix cubes in the 80's and a great big Roger Rabbit. Personally, I loved the 80's, it was on the 'end' of the resort with a very pretty lake just outside our door, and very little foot traffic. The 60's and 70's are probably the closest to the bus stops, but with the cafe and guest services, etc. there, I think it would have been to 'busy' for me in that area. Our pool was empty all except 1 night. I requested the 60/70 when we checked in due to bus stop location, but were told that room allocations were given first come/first serve, so you really didn't get much choice where you got placed unless you check in at a low-occupancy date. However, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the 80's or 90's again and would probably request it just due to decreased crowd size. After a long day in the parks, we welcomed a little peace and quiet. Enjoy your trip!!

We stayed at Pop in August in the 60's building. We have only ever stayed at ASMo also, and after staying at Pop, decided we liked ASMo better. If you love the Disney theming (which is why we love ASMo too, gotta love the giant Buzz and Woody!), there is almost none at PC. My dh missed the Disney music playing (they play music from different decades, pop, disco, etc.) and I missed the Disney "feel" that ASMo has. The 60's buildings are preferred ($10 more per night), but the 70's are just as close to the food court, bus stops, etc.

What a bummer. I can see sticking with the theme of the hotel. But how about sticking with the theme of my vacation?
Disney anyone?

I agree, I would probably like the ASMo better, however, my DW and DS want to try the new resort.
