What is the best budget kitty litter?

I use Mimi litter it isn't scoopable and I guess that it isn't all that economical either. I get it at Walmart it seems to be the only one that manages the odor of my 4 cats. So I pay the price about $15 every other week for three litter boxes.

I have to say we like Costco litter the best we use to use BJ's but it doesn't come in a plastic bag anymore it's just the cardboard box and it spills all over the car on the way home.

I was wondering about this one. If I can ask... how many cats do you have? We have 3 and it could get pricey if we have to have a seperate tray for each of them.

We use Paws and Claws from Tractor Supply, works really well, not sure what the price is though.

We just have the one cat. The Breeze system does recommend more than one tray for more than one cat, but I'm thinking that's just a marketing ploy to sell more. If your cats are willing to use the same litter pan now, there's no reason they wouldn't all use the same Breeze. But I could see how you might have to change the pad more often. But then, I'm guessing you have to scoop pretty often too with three. I hate scooping poop for just one!

I dont know how this compares to other peoples yearly expense, but we've been using Worlds Best Cat Litter which is a flushable litter made from corn. It does clump and we use it with the Omega Paw self cleaning litter box and last year our litter cost for 1 cat was only $80. I buy the litter from amazon for $38 for a 34 pound bag. We only used 2 bags last year with our one cat. I think the litter combined with the litter box we use, uses less litter. Here is the litter box I am referring to ( i LOVE this litter box!):

We have amazon prime so I dont pay extra for the shipping. Not sure how much the shipping cost but I do know they sell this litter at PetCo.

I think I may look into this...I have 4 cats, so there is lots of waste, and I have been looking for a new box for a LONG time..I may try this and the other litter out. Thanks for the good reviews!
