For me, it had to be the Goats Town appetizer at Raglan Road! :thumbsup2

Hands down, the mussels in white wine and garlic from Narcoossee's! And I don't really like mussels! SO GOOD! :)

Subscribing - this I need to know! Much more important than crowd levels or lines....

Dh loved, loved, loved the potato leek soup at R&C so much that he ate his bowl, most of dd's bowl, and nearly all of ds's bowl (and the kids got full-sized adult bowls, not miniature kid-sided bowls). Of course, he was nearly sick because of it, but he sure did enjoy himself.

Like Raglan Road much, lynninpa? ;) I'm glad to hear you liked the Goat's Town so much. We're trying RR for the first time in September, and I was so bummed when I read the herb-crusted grilled goat cheese appetizer was gone. At least I have the Goat's Town to look forward to!

The Cheddar Cheese Soup and breadsticks at Le Cellier, hands down!

Jules

The BBQ chicken/Kenya Coffee (with grilled onions and 4 cheeses) flatbread at Jiko!!

We enjoy the Smoky Portobello Soup at Artist Point.

My favorite they don't make anymore: The pork dumplings with peanut dipping sauce they used to have at Ohana. The dumplings alone were worth the trip to the Polynesian.

My favorite is also gone - the Pan-Seared Quail at Citricos.

Given that, right now I'm torn between the Cooking Place Sampler at Jiko and the Tuna Tartare at BlueZoo.

IMHO, the best way to eat is to just order a whole raft of appetizers & share them amongst the table - like Tapas, Meze or Dim Sum. That way I never have to choose a favorite, I can try them all! :thumbsup2

1 TS place
Herb Cheese at 50's Prime Time
Cheddar Cheese Soup at Le Cellier

2 TS place
Spicy Sensation at California Grill
If you don't do sushi then the Goat Cheese Ravioli at California Grill

Great Thread!!!

Spoodles lemon shrimp closely followed by mussels in garlic and parmesan at Narcoosees.:) I have had the cheese soup from LeCellier at the F&WF and I think its one of the best non-seafood starters.
