What is the 800 # for disney reservations?

Can anyone give me the 800 number for disney reservations? I do not have the number with me at work, and need to call and check on a couple of things.

I used the 1-800-828-0228 number once and was asked for my McDonald's ID number. Apparently this number is only supposed to be used for McDonald's employees.
I have used the 877 number with no problem.

That cannot be accurate. I have used this number over 150 times and have never been asked for anything of the sort.

I've never been asked for anything either when I use the 1-800-828-0228 number either - I thought that was the old Disney Club line?

I've never had problems using this number or asked for any ID. That's weird!
