What is so great about Hojo's?

FANTASTIC!!! Thanks for that tip! I think I will keep doing that - I really want to get that rate! I hope I will get that rate it would make such a big difference in our trip! Do you suggest calling every day or checking the list??

I update the list the same day that we get the new calendar, so if you have access to the internet every day- checking the list will definitely work!

Having said that, we love talking to you guys on the phone, so you can absolutely call us too! Just remember to ask for In-House Reservations when you call 714-776-6120! :goodvibes

Hope this helps!

Bumbershoot - can you tell me, if I book it now with the current rate, can i change that rate if the sd50 becomes available later?

Absolutely, you can do that, and I have done that. I have even heard of instances where Lorealle has automatically done that for a guest. Seriously, she's the best! :goodvibes

Keep checking for availability...For the last three months the chart on the Hojo website has said N/A for the entire month of July. Then, suddenly, on July 4 almost half the month opened up for the Entertainment rate.

I have never been able to figure this out. How do I find a chart that lists the E rate availability for a month?

And if you have a computer glitch and lose your favorites, hojoanaheim.com, discussion boards, find the forum for Discounts, Entertainment Card, and look for the very first thread in there.

I"m booked at Hojo before our next cruise- but how do we know if we have a room that includes microwave?

If you requested a premium view room in building 1 or a deluxe room with 2 queens in building 2, you will have a microwave.

Do you know what kind of room you booked? It should be in your confirmation.

standered rooms do not primum and deluxe do
at least this is what ive gathered. from all my calling ive done

Does increasing rates mean there are expected to be busy? Back in May, I booked my Hojo stay for Aug. No ent rates avail for my dates, at least not yet. Rack rate for disney view room was $159. Got 15% disboard discount for $135.15. I barely got a disney view room (had to book pool view first, but finally a room became available, so I switched). But, yesterday a disney view room was available and I noticed that rack rates had increased from $159 to $179 for my nights. I'm just curious what that means.

Anyone know or have any ideas?

I can't remember which building but I do know it's 2 queens for our family of 5. I hope we have a microwave- would sure make eating on our week trip before the crduise go a LOT cheaper. LOL

On your confirmation it should have a code like NQQ1 or NQQ2. That will indicate which building you are in.

I don't believe the increased price is based only on occupancy. Many factors are probably involved (like the popularily of the new Castaway Cove). But if you want to know exactly why the prices have been increased I would ask Lorealle or Willie Simpson who is the director of sales and marketing at the HoJo.

Well, I ended up booking and we have an NQQ1 - I am pretty sure it has a Disney view. I hope the kids are surprised, I am not telling them that I changed our hotel! I don't know if I got a good rate or not - I am still hoping that those Entertainment book rates will become available! *Fingers Crossed*

I am really trying to make this an economical trip, so we can have more fun playing! Lately I have been tryingto see how little money I can spend! I hear it all the time from friends, "You're going to Disneyland again?" Ugh! I hate those questions, I guess some ppl just don't get it!
