How many are seated at the grills? I have a party of six. how many more would be seated with us?

Yes, our table sat 2 on each end and 4 across the front. We were seated with 2 other parties. My DD still talks about the great advice she got from the 20-something girls next to her, who worked at a theme park in Texas. (Like, "don't ever eat the chicken fingers" advice and why :rotfl:).

So it can be fun to dine with others!

We were a party of 4, and were seated with another family of 4. I agree with the above configurations of 2 on the ends and 4 along the front, with the chef on the 4th side. It was fun for us, because the other family was from Scotland. Everyone was having a hard time trying to understand each other (I'm sure our Kentucky accent was just as indecipherable to them as a Scottish brogue can be to us), but we had fun learning about each other.

Our family of 4 was sat this past November with a family of 5 or 6, but that family only had 3 adults. I know they had a son around my daughter's age (7-8), and a baby that was about 6 months old, but I can't remember if they had another little one that was like 2 or 3 ???

We all fit, mainly because all of their kids were so small and the baby had a high-chair in the very corner of the back of the table/restaurant.

I think we got really lucky - we very much enjoyed our table mates. The mom and I didn't talk so much because we were feeding/tending to the kids, but my husband really enjoyed talking to the grandpa (who was next to my hubby) and the other father. Sometimes at Biergarten, I've felt just a tinge of not being comfortable with tablemates (forced conversation, etc), but they were awesome.

Perhaps it was wise that they put us (with our young kids) with them since they had young kids. :)

we had nine at our table. a couple on one end, my sister and her husband on the other, and my mom, dad and i on the front along with another couple. it was a little tight as we were all adults, but it wasnt anything uncomfortable.

We had 9 when we went last time - 3 parties of 3. Three of the diners were children.

1) You could have up to four additional people at the table.
2) But, in most cases, only two.
3) This is communal seating, so you cannot request a table just for your family.
4) Unless the family fills all the available seats.

This is pretty common at any teppan grill restaurant. For us, it's one of the things we like about it. We either go to our local place with another family, or we enjoy meeting someone else along the way. One visit to "our local" was with another Disney family!

We are a part of 2 at Teppan Edo. Last time we were seating with a party of 5, making 7 (i don't think there were any singles waiting to be seated).

Another time were were seated with a party of 2 and a party of 4.
