What is SAB

First of all, Welcome Home!! SAB is Stormalong Bay Pool at the Yacht and Beach club. We have never pool hopped there but have walked by it and it looks like lots of fun.

It's a nice pool--unlike the one at OKW.
But get over there quick, while you still can!!

It's Storm Along Bay, the Holy Grail of Pools. This is probably one of the best pools on the planet. It's behind the beach club and part of the Beach Club - Yacht Club Resort. We have pool hopped there every other day when we go to BWV or OKW. It is a day in itself. Sandy bottom (like fish tank gravel-sand colored) bottom, it feels so good. It has a whirlpool, a great slide and all different levels from 3 feet to 8 feet. Nine lifeguards on duty, and an absolutely incredible pool. There is much talk however that you will not be able to pool hop at SAB after the BCV opens up. although there has been no official announcement, many believe that the additional BCV will overload the pool, thereby forcing Disney to stop the pool hopping at SAB. Many vintage DVCers feel that this might happen. One of your replies indicates this as well.
