Keep reading about "rope drop?" Is it when the park's open? Or is it the time that you are allowed to enter the park before it opens and the rides aren't open yet? If so, when is "rope drop" for the parks? Is it a set time like for example 1/2 hr before it opens?

They let you through the turnstiles about 15 minutes before the park opens. You can move up to certain points, where they usually put up ropes to stop the traffic from progressing all the way into the parks. There is a little show, then a countdown, then the ropes come down (drop) and CMs escort the crowd to the major attractions. If you are headed somewhere else, you can just go off on your own.

We get there about 30-45 minutes before park opening...
