Hi!

Can anyone refresh my memory on the incentive given for rebooking while on board? We are traveling on the 4 night Wonder on 7/3 and would like to book a 7 night while on board. I'm just not sure of the discount.

Thanks for your help! :flower:

For rebooking a 7 day cruise onboard, you will get a 10% discount, plus a $200.00 stateroom credit.

10% off of the CURRENT rate. You may get a better rate by booking now rather than waiting - the price can and does go up. Usually the earlier the better.

For example on the Aug '05 repo cruise we made our ressie when they first became available in the morning we would have saved about $500 over later that evening. The next day the price had jumped $700 by noon and ANOTHER $600 by evening. By the time the cruise was sold out 3 days later we had saved over $3000 on the price of our room.

There has been some discussion of people booking their cruise now then checking on the price when they go to book onboard. Then you take the best deal.

I have a guestion. A lot of DISers have said to book on board then change over to TA. DCL price is a lot higher then the TA price. Even by saving 10% of DCL price its still higher then TA price. Would the TA price be 10% cheeper if you switched to the TA. Other wise why switch to TA, just book with the TA in the first place. We are thinking of booking a family cruise from 3 to 5 cabins, when we go in Feb. John

Last month, the onboard offers were:
-7 night cruise: 10% off and $200 onboard credit
-3 or 4 night cruise: $100 onboard credit if I recall correctly
-7 night land and sea: $400 onboard credit

To take advantage of the rebooking incentive, is it necessary to know the names of all the passengers? I'm thinking about rebooking while on board for my family and another family of four. Just haven't decided which family of four, either a friend or a relative's family. Or should I just sign up four names and then change later if needed?

Also, how much deposit is required? I think I'll be pretty broke by the end of the first cruise, so I hope I don't have to put much down on the subsequent one.

I got a quote while on board to rebook for the same week in Jan in 2006 - just being curious and then came home and checked the website. For the Jan 14 Western 7 day the cost for 2 Cat 9's for 6 people was $5200. The cost on the Disney website was $6900. That is good savings.

We did not rebook onboard as DH is a been there, done that type of guy and wants to see the whole world! We really enjoyed ourselves on our 4 night cruise a couple of weeks ago thought and will definately cruise again - just not next year!

These offers were also available when I was onboard earlier this week.
I booked onboard, then transferred my ressie to Dana @ MICDAN. Switching my ressie to Dana saved me even more $$$.

In short, I don't know, but my wife was able to book onboard for a 3 day cruise for her plus another passenger listed as "TBD".
