What IS Pirate night exactly?

I have made Palo ressies on CC day and am on the 4 night cruise. I have read on this board that Pirate night is that night...what goes on? What time does it start? Do I need to bring anything? Will my 2 DD's (ages 4.5 and 3) be interested in this? My Palo ressie is for 7pm....should I change it? Does it involve the Oceaneers club in any way?

You can make it to the deck party at 9:45. That is when the real party begins. You could probably go to the dining room and pick up your copies of the pirate map menu & red bandanas for you to wear.
