What is my problem?????

DH (arriving home from work): Jkjgtbxxsrda nsghshgukl?

Me (staring intently at DISboards): ............

DH (louder): Bhgsftlkuj hgsncjkl?

Me (still reading): ................

DH (louder still): BJSRALKH JUNLSMKNH?

Me (concentration finally broken): Huh?

DH: I said, "Reading the DISboards again?"

Me: Um. Yeah.

Sigh. Good thing I married a very patient man!!

I have the same problem!! I thought that maybe I was the only one to go on these boards about 5 or 6 times a day....but now I know I am not alone! Its my first trip to WDW and I tell my self that I NEED to read these boards and get as much information as possible!! It makes myself feel better about being on these boards all day! And yes, my boyfriend thinks I have a real problem. He laughed so hard when I told him to come in here and read this thread! He said wow, your not the only one! :rotfl:

I always thought my DH was crazy for checking his Mac (Apple Computer) boards all day long. Now, I understand b/c that what I do with the DIS boards! I have learned so much and can't wait for our trip in May. My DH's coworker was amazed b/c she is a DVC veteran (and goes 3-4 X year) and it seemed that I knew more than she did!

I'm here - again. I'm still trying to talk my family into going back to WDW in late may, early June. My DD5 doesn't want to fly again, but DH doesn't want to drive. I'd rather do a road trip this time because school will be over and we will be more flexible with our time. Not to mention driving will be cheaper. But DH still wants to fly. Sigh...... :earboy2:

I came home from work sick a couple of hours ago so instead of sleeping or resting here I am dising
I need help. :confused3

The sun did not shine,
it was too wet to play,
so I sat in the house
and read DIS boards all day.

I sat there, quite simply.
I sat there, I did,
and thought to myself,
"Who am I trying to kid?".

Too wet to go out,
and too cold to go shopping,
so I sat at the computer,
and went DIS board hopping.

As the time drifted by,
I became quite entranced.
But I found a new bargain,
and new ways to pack pants.

My hubby called home,
and said "what are you doing?",
and I answered, "Oh nothing,
Just some rug shampooing."

The dishes that sat,
in the sink which was dripping,
bothered me not--
there's a new code for shipping!

The news from the diser's,
and the great trip reports...
didn't my son say today,
he was playing a sport??

But look what I've found!
It's a way to cook beans!
And didn't you know,
You could embroider on jeans!

My goodness the tips,
All the info was amazing...
Just at that moment,
the phone began to ring.

"Mom, I've got to play ball,
come and get me at school!
Isn't this the day
that you drive for carpool?"

Oh no! I can't stop!
There's just so much to read!
How many people
Will one voucher feed?

Should I leave all this now,
or keep reading along?
How much time will it take me--
I hope not too long!

As I looked up at the clock,
My mind went so frantic.
I had to get busy,
And tried not to panic.

My day seemed so wasted,
But I knew 'twas not so.
I'd just gotten the scoop
On the best places to go.

That was GREAT, sweet maxine...you didn't have too much time on your hands. You were pixie dust inspired!! :wizard:

I too am a DISboards addict - I have researched the newspapers and telephone books to find a group to help with my addiction but no luck - so I will continue my daily journey to the computer to see what new information I can find - and when there isn't anything new I will re-read the old posts - I will try to limit my time to a few hours a day... this I promise... the question I ask myself daily is what will I do when this trip is over and I have to wait another year before our next visit - I can't take it... this is to much stress... to long to plan.....

LOL :rotfl: ... I feel so much better knowing I am not alone in my addiction!
I was walking to my car from class today, and i thought to myself, "I wonder if anyone has posted codes on the DIS today?"... while I was working, I was wondering where our PS's would be in May... driving home on the cold, icy, and snowy roads, I was wondering what the average temperature is in FL in May...
I need to find a new hobby! Or at least try to concentrate on graduating so i can actually GO on this trip!! :p
