Ok, question about that... the earliest available time at BOG is 8:30 am. What time will I be allowed to enter the park? And will that be enough time to be in line at SDD by 9:00?

If you have a PPO reservation you are let in the park just before the regular crowds at 7:45
You can head directly to BOG and be seated right away no matter what your reservation time
If you preorder, you have way enough time to get out before 8:45 and get in line for the ride if your choice!
Since it’s a EMM you won’t be let in before 9:00 but will still beat the RD crowds!

Having done both the EMM and then Be our Guest for breakfast, I think maybe you're best best is the suggestion of BOGbreakfast. Preorder your breakfast when you can, that will help speed things along, and once you are finished, you can head over to SDMT. If your child doesn't want to ride, atleast you wouldn't have spent extra on EMM and this may be a way to cover the costs of the room upgrade. You'll have a wait in line for the ride, but still better than what it might be later in the day.

Also something to mention is that you don’t need to order full meals for everyone for BOG...
When we went we shared one kids meal, two beverages and one cupcake and we had enough food for two of us!
