My sister used her Welcome Reward and Birthday Reward at the same visit at Yak N Yeti this past December. It may be subject to the cast member...who knows!

I was able to combine both rewards in 2016.

If you are not able to do so, the rewards (welcome bonus or birthday) are good on food and/or alcohol. So there is nothing to stop you from using, say, one reward toward lunch or dinner at Y&Y and the other toward cocktails at the lounge in Rainforest Cafe.
