What is it that you like best about your resort

HH: large rooms; laid back feel; cast members; easy for us to get to from home.

BCV: location, and SAB (although we haven't gotten to use it yet--too cold last trip).

BWV: Easy walking distance to EPCOT and MGM.

BCV: SAB. Our kids are like fish when we stay there. The pool is almost as big of an attraction as the parks.

VWL: Easy access to the Magic Kingdom.

That's what I like best about our three home resorts. There are many thnings more that I like bu those are my top reasons.

HBC

BWV - Location: Walk to Epcot (duh! Isn't this what everyone loves about the Epcot area resorts!) - plus the fact that you have at least half a dozen decent restuarants within walking distance.

The pool. (While it isn't SAB, it is easier to watch the kids from a beach chair)

The theming. We enjoy the combination of casualness and elegance the BW provides. I think its actually a nice compromise for my husband and I. We both love the casualness of the WL, but I crave the elegance.

OKW

Large 1 BR including Kitchen, Living area, patio, dining area, laundry area, bath, etc. Parking at your door(almost) In my car, easy access to whereever I want to go.

OKW~
Large rooms.....theming....relaxing atmosphere....boat to DD.....parking at door.........

/
BWV: Location - walk to Epcot & MGM, Boardwalk restaurants & shops, beauty of the lake.

VB-Ocean front......Beach Cottages........very relaxing........underground close parking....non-commando type vacation........CM's are top notch......1 hr to sister's house in West Palm Beach

OKW-laid back......largest rooms.....lowest dues.......boat to DD....GV's.........might get to meet Richyams one day

P.S. We will like these 2 resorts even more in 4 years when we retire and move to Florida(save on car rental-airfare)

BWV--casual elegance, valet parking, nice CM's, easy walking to either Epcot or MGM, lots of restaurants to choose from, big pool. The proximity to Epcot and MGM is huge, for us. We exercise every day by walking thru one park or the other(we have AP's).:Pinkbounc

BWV - location - can walk to Epcot and MGM, theming, the pool - love the 'scary' clown slide!, community hall, the boardwalk area that the teens can explore while I nap and sit at the pool (especially ESPN arcade), close restaurants- can even walk over to Epcot for a meal, view around the lake, easy access to the little waterboats, within walking distance to Beaches and Cream!:teeth:

Oh No!! Now I'm 'home' sick!!!:(

BCV - The smell (when you enter in the main entrance near Ariel's Statue).

OKW - larger rooms, the corner jacuzzi, full washer and dryer, large balconies for watching the golfers, the GVs, relaxing by the uncrowded pool, parking right outside our room, strolling on the path to DD, and finally the feeling I get everytime I drive onto the property

Vero - Walking on the beach early in the morning, the Beach Cottages, great pool, fun poolside activities (the DJ), campfire singalong, evening drinks on the balcony of the Green Cabin Room

BCV - (of course) close to EPCOT my favorite park, the quiet pool, rum runners from Hurricane Hannah's, strolling around the lagoon, Cape May Cafe, and watching for the alligator

THe main reason we bought at BWV (and are finally going to give it a try and overcome our dislike of lock-off 2brs): action. It's fun to be in the thick of things sometimes, especially as our kids get a bit older. Our kids also are increasingly fond of Epcot (my favorite park) and MGM (my second fave!) Community ahll and the lake there add to the # of activities available. It doesn't hurt that dh and eldest ds are HUGE sports fans and could live in ESPN, given the chance. And I like that fact that at the BWV pool, you can readily see your kids in action (and make sure they really do come OUT of the clown...)

VWL- If not for the warm theme, we would not be DVC members now! (DH liked this theme the best), Artist Point (salmon for DH), the music being played (being musicians we really notice things like this!)

BCV- Closeness to Epcot (DH has yet to enjoy this advantage!), SAB, fifth floor with quiet pool view, being able to see the alligator from our balcony!:p

BWV-although I ahve yet to stay there, I like the pool area. Good for kids. I also like the location and being ablt to talk a run or walk or jog in the a.m. between MGM, EPCOT and the BW. (I did this while staying at BCV)

VWL-Atmosphere. Although I am a "beach" person, I love it here!! I guess it is like being in the woods-but in great style! I also like being near to MK.

VB-The simplicity of all. Great family fun-no hustle and bustle and no hassles! The CM's are so laid back and friendly. They really help to set the tone for the resort.

gopherit-I see you have a "thing" about clowns!
