What's it like? Pro's? Cons?
Do all the rooms have balconies? And if you have a garden view, what might you expect?

The Tower rooms are awesome! :) I have stayed in the tower twice both with MK view which is also the parking lot LOL. I prefer to see the MK rather than the other side which is a view of Bay Lake (considered the better view by the resort). With MK view, you can see the fireworks. All tower rooms have a balcony.

I have, also, stayed in the garden wing and that is okay but not as nice as the Tower. You have a longer walk from the garden wings to the main building and to the monorail.

I too have stayed in the Tower! It is so Magical! We were facing the MK side and since we had and odd # room we could see the fireworks from our bed. WE have stayed in many disney resorts but the CR Tower is my children's Favorite.

What are your options in the Tower for something quick to eat? A burger or chicken fingers to bring back to your room or eat there. Breakfast options besides the character meal?

There's a Food 'n Fun Center on the 1st floor that offers grill service. My son swears that they serve the best chicken tenders in all of WDW!

I have stayed in the tower with both MK and Bay Lake views and I would always hold out for the MK view now. The Bay Lake View we had was over the pool and people were so loud out there in the hot tub at 3am that it woke me up, and yes, our sliding glass doors were closed.

We have also stayed in a Garden wing and that is also just fine if you want to be near the monorail for the lowest possible price. It's worth it if your favorite parks are MK and Epcot, as ours are.

We just loved the view from the Tower, it was so cool to watch the monorails come online in the early morning, the boats ferrying the first people to the MKwe would sit out on the balcony and eat our breakfast and just enjoy the start of the day. It is awsome to wake up in the middle of the night and peek out and see the castle lit up and tomorrow land just waiting for the next landing. We were there during the week of several halloween parties at the MK and the fireworks each night were the best when seen from the tower. It is so worth the price to have this view. We were on the 11 floor I think the higher the better!

We LOVE the tower. Although we have never tried the wings. We were in the tower facing the MK last Dec for the MVMCP. The fireworks were absolutley beautiful.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and looking over the railing down onto chef mickeys is another treat!

Although we have stayed in the Tower (years ago), we have never stayed on the CL. We are booked for four eves this July(AFTER a week @ Disney's Vero Beach~and BEFORE the WDW Dolphin) on the 14th Floor (MK view) in a 1BR suite! I'm so excited, especially with all the Hoopla about the view being better the "higher" you are in the Tower. Has anyone ever stayed on the CL/Suite in the CR? ;)

What is the difference between a Tower room and a Tower Club Room?

We've stayed in the tower a few times and we love it! The view is amazing and it's fun to come out of your room, look over the rail and see the monorail and Chef Mickey's. I can't wait to go back in May!

Your impressions made me yearn for my trip back in '92 at the 1st Disneyana Convention. My dear friend and I stayed up until 3 AM the first day we arrived, because we could NOT believe the sights in front of us. Better yet, was being woken up to the sounds of the riverboat's horn and the howling from the Haunted Mansion.

I was INSIDE THE MAGIC! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We enjoyed our garden view room very much, but I do prefer rooms with balconies, which those rooms don't have. As special as the MK view tower rooms are, be aware that the parking lot and busy road (all the MK busses pass by) are directly below. My husband loves to spend time on the balcony and he was bothered by the noise.

Groosch! Howdy Lisa! :)

The tower club is on the 12th floor...this floor offers "limited" concerige services. These services include a nice breakfast spread (mostly cold stuff) and snacks throughout the day untill 4pm...you of course also have a dedicated concerige staff to make PS's for you, answer questions etc..

The room size is the same as with the rest of the tower..but I believe the bathrooms are a bit fancier.

Hope this help yer! :)

Are you serious???? You can hear the haunted mansion? and the MK?

Is one side of the Cont. MK view and the other views of the pool? Is that how it works?

LOL...The "bathroom" is fancier! Also, the Concierge stocks the little fridge in your room (on limited/12 & 13) with bottled water & sodas. If you need more, they'll accomodate. Very nice touch. ;) Also, the snacks at 4pm include a couple of "hot" selections from the California Grill (appetizers). It's also an "exclusive" area, where one must "swipe" the room key through a slot in the elevator to gain access to these floors. All of this for about...$50 more per day. ;) Enjoy!

Now...anyone ever stay in the SUITES on the 14th? :smooth:

Yup!...The side which faces the MK...also (generally) gives views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, and the parking lot...

...the "water view" side..faces the pools and Bay Lake

:)

Regarding the Haunted Mansion howling, I'm guessing that depends on who's working. When I worked there a lifetime ago :) some folks would put that on the microphone, and sometimes it would be Jungle Cruise.

You can see the splash from Splash Mtn. and the steam from BTM, too.
