What is it like in November??

My family has been offered a free place to stay off-site in November and we're considering going down to get our Dis fix for this year. I have no idea what it's like in November and I was hoping some you great Dis'ers can give me your input. Don't the parks close early (6pm ish)? What are the crowds like compared to the summer (July/August)?

November is my favorite month to go. Although there are no guarantees, we have always had beautiful weather. Temps generally 70-85 although we have run into some chilly temps at the very end of the month. Also, the rainy season is over.

As long as you are not going Thanksgiving week, the crowds are low to moderate.

I love November, but we go in January now because of college break for my son. The kids still want to go with us so I try to accomodate!

I love the weather in November! Hurricane season is over then and it starts to cool down. The parks aren't crowded, as long as you don't go during Thanksgiving week. IMO, it's the best time of the year, in FL.

We were there last November (7 - 15th). The weather was great. The only day it rained was arrival day - and then just for about an hour. We got some pool time in and the parks were not too hot. (I do not know how everybody does WDW in the summer. I think it is just too darn hot!) The only drawbacks are the parks are not open real late - and it is a little too chilly at night for a late night dip. Other than that it is an awesome time to visit. Low crowds, good weather. Enjoy.

Early in November the parks wouldn't be open as late as usual, the week of Thanksgiving will be crowded, if you go after Thanksgiving weekend, the crowds aren't too bad (like Monday) and the Christmas decorations will be up.

Weather can be nice or it can be iffy, when I have gone after Thanksgiving I have had weather 80's in the day or wet and rainy and not just a quick afternoon shower

November is great! Wonderful weather, crowds are nothing like July crowds, the only park that closes too early for me is MK... but the crowds are so good that you can still get everything in. Enjoy!
