What is going on Nov 9?

I have a reservation for a 2 br at SSR for 11/10-16 but I am wait listed for Nov 9. Is there anything special going on then? I was surprised to be to wait listed for just the one day....Food and wine? Veterans week? Any ideas? I'm not sure how long I should stay wait listed until I just make a "safety reservation" for that day. I don't fly in until 7:00 pm so I'm not overly concerned about getting a room somewhere on campus, but I am hopeful that the wait list will go through so that I don't have to worry about moving my luggage and getting garden grocer to deliver on the 10th instead of the 9th.

It's at the tail end of Jersey Week, but I would have expected people to be going home as the kids are due back in school the next day.

I feel your pain! We are booked in a 1BR at BCV for Nov 14-21st. We are waitlisted for the 13th. I did make a ressie at POR as a back up.
Can't imagine what is going on in WDW on the 13th.

We have reservations for Nov 12-22 at OKW and have had them for a while. We didn't have any problems, maybe they are for the end of Jersey Week or F&W at Epcot. Maybe we'll see you guys there.

It's also the Veteran's Day weekend - Veteran's Day is Tuseday, 11/11. Many who have that day off, also take Monday as a vacation day.

Isn't this the SuperSoap weekend at DHS as well? I remember we were there for SS weekend at DHS and it was packed. But the best part is we walked right onto the tower of terror.
